FAQ

  • How long will my custom order take to make?
    As we are a small family run business and each item is personally handmade, your order will go in a queue and will be made in sequence of purchase. As a result we advise that all custom handbags will be shipped within 20 working days of the order being placed. Most bags leave our studio before this point, but we give 20 working days as our maximum delivery time.
  • How will I know when my item is ready?
    We will send you a shipping notification with tracking number attached for the chosen carrier once your order has been processed.
  • Can I change my colour choices after I've ordered?
    Yes! You can change your colour choices within 24 hours after the order has been placed, by contacting us through the chat feature of our website (bottom right of the screen). If we have the new chosen colour in stock, it should not add any extra wait time to your order being processed.
  • Can I return a custom bag?
    If there is a fault with the bag we will work with you to rectify it. Please contact us in the unlikely event you have any issue. Unfortunately, as the bags are custom made and we could not resell them, they are excluded from our returns and refund policy.
  • Do I need to pay for shipping for custom bags?
    No. We provide free shipping on all custom orders
  • Do the bags have lining?
    No, our bags do not need lining as we hand sew the bottom of each bag and the gaps in between plaits are very small. However, we do offer a lining service for those who do want bag lining, for a small extra fee. This is available as an added extra option on each bag.
  • Do the bags have a fastener?
    As standard our bags do not have a fastener, as most of our bag purchasers have requested no fastener. However, if you would like us to hand sew a fastener to secure the bag, we offer this as an added optional extra when ordering each bag. There is no charge for this service.
  • Are you products really handmade?
    Absolutely! Each of our bags are handcrafted by our small family team, paying particular attention to detail and ensuring we create the most beautiful bags we can make. None of our bags are pre-made, each piece is custom created, by hand and made to order.
  • Do you offer further customisation?
    Yes, we love a challenge! If you already have a specific design (maybe you've seen one on YouTube you like), or maybe you've seen a picture on social media, simply send us a link and we can work with you to bring it to life, in a range of colours.
  • Where do you ship?
    We currently only ship to the UK, but we are working on an option to ship our bags globally. If you are from outside of the UK and would like to purchase one of out bags, please get in contact and we'll work with you to hopefully make that happen.
  • Do you offer wholesale opportunities?
    Yes. If you would like to stock Rex & Regina products in your store, please get in contact with us to discuss opportunities.
  • Can I request a different type of handle?
    Yes! If your bag has a short plaited handle and you would prefer a long handle instead, for example, just get in touch with us before purchasing and we can make this happen for you. You can even request no handle if you would like a clutch bag for those evening events.
